As a Manufacturing Engineer II you will play a key role in designing efficient layouts and optimizing the sequence of operations across production lines. You'll ensure all necessary modifications are implemented to meet regulatory and safety standards, driving compliance and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise to improve manufacturing processes and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do
Apply engineering knowledge and collaborate with other organizations to improve manufacturing operations.
Own all phases of project execution from concept development through deployment and manufacturing.
Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects.
Participate in cross functional teams to ensure effective deployment to live production.
Prioritize tasks to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and that deadlines are met.
Maintain current knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and develop related project proposals.
Effectively communicates with operations and technical leadership on proposals and active projects.
Qualifications You Must Have
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).

Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Ability to operate effectively in a technical environment, contributing to engineering delivery and problem-solving
Experience leading or coordinating project teams within an engineering environment
Experience working across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Background in Manufacturing, Testing Support in a low volume high-mix factory.
Experience with metal joining processes such as welding and brazing.
Programming protocols experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
