Major Duties:
Qualifications: In addition to meeting the BASIC REQUIREMENT, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 9/11 grade level or DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing computer aided design (CAD) to model components and/or systems; Performing finite element analysis; Performing static, kinematic, and fatigue analysis; Preparing and presenting a brief to an audience/leadership; Providing technical recommendations to aircraft programs related to landing gear or other sub-systems for the purpose of technical improvements, qualification requirements, and operational risk mitigation; AND Working individually or as part of a group to design a solution to a prescribed problem while being conscious of cost, schedule, and risks.
