As a CARE Team Leader, you’ll ensure the team delivers on our goal to show genuine care for our field partner and consumers through the work that we do within the Life Insurance and Disability vertical. Your team is highly motivated and empowered to take ownership and accountability for each interaction by proactively seeking to understand the individuals behind the work, keep our field partners and consumers informed during every step of their request, demonstrate genuine care, and actively engage with our field partners to create meaningful and unexpected experiences. CARE expresses the emotion we want to generate, and it’s also an acronym for Communicate, Advocate, Respond, and Empower – the actions needed to show CARE.

Must have prior operational/people management to be considered.

  • Understanding operational and consumer service metrics and controls and their importance in achieving business goals.

You Will

  • Lead others effectively and drive positive change within the organization.
  • Collaborate with teams and maintain a hands-on approach to leadership and data.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and an innovative, proactive mindset.
  • Drive a consumer-centric operation and understand what it takes to deliver an excellent consumer experience.
  • Mitigate risk related to regulations such as NAIC illustration & replacement rules and NY Reg 187.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while balancing field and consumer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with IM Operations & Service leadership and cross-functional business partners across Guardian.
  • Stay informed and proactive about field and consumer experience through relationship-building.

You Have

  • MUST HAVE: Operational/People leadership experience to be considered.
  • Experience in insurance operations, preferred, proficient in managing multiple lines of business, a plus.
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional and proactive communication skills and are confident to present ideas and team accomplishments to leadership in an executive summary style
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail across a variety of assignments; able to set and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends and drive proactive and practical solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations preferred.

Location

This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week onsite at in either Bethlehem, PA or Pittsfield, MA.

Salary Range:

$67,450.00 - $110,815.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
