Product Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Manages tasks and initiatives associated with the product development life cycle for digital products and services. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban

  • Experience with market research, customer feedback analysis, and translating these inputs into product features

  • Knowledge of product management frameworks and lifecycle

  • Knowledge of software development processes and technologies, including cloud platforms and general web technologies

  • Knowledge of User experience (UX) best practices and principles

  • Ability to develop and articulate product vision and strategy and create detailed product roadmaps, and prioritize features

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive product decisions

  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Computer Science, or Engineering field

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or managing products in a dynamic industry

  • Experience with user story creation, backlog grooming, product launch, and marketing strategies

  • Knowledge of advanced analytical tools, such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel, and Prototyping and wireframing tools, such as Sketch or Figma

  • Knowledge of competitor analysis

  • Ability to identify new market opportunities through customer needs assessments

  • Ability to mentor junior product managers and foster a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and industry trends, and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under time constraints

  • Master's degree

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification

  • PMP or PMI-ACP Certification

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
