University Advancement is looking for a motivated intern to join the Donor Relations team and contribute to our stewardship initiatives. In this role, you will help ensure donors remain connected to the University and understand how their philanthropic contributions support and strengthen every area of our institution. This internship will run from June through August 2026, with flexibility around the exact start and end dates. The position pays $19.00 per hour. Standard office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the intern will work 10–15 hours each week. Tasks may be completed either remotely or from our Charlottesville offices. The intern will report directly to the Assistant Director of Donor Relations.
We are seeking a candidate with strong writing abilities, solid data management skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team on a range of donor stewardship assignments, including scholarship stewardship and endowment reporting. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
