We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant with a focus on technical role recruitment to join our team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland.
Partner with an incredible group of senior internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end in-house sourcing and selection of top talent for our business. Our preferred candidate will have an established track record of placing technology-focused roles, be a champion of creative thinking and have a knack for building strong relationships.

Your day-to-day could include:
- Partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of our vacancies, team needs and role competencies, translating them into effective recruitment strategies.
- Creatively tackle any sourcing hurdles to find top talent using a range of sourcing methods, recommend new sourcing initiatives to attract suitable candidates.
- Delivering excellent candidate experiences throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely feedback and maintaining a professional approach, including phone screenings and interviews.
- Advocating for People & Culture team and the needs of your Line of Service stakeholders. Upskill on best practices and recruitment policies as required.
- Managing a small portfolio of immigration cases for talent hired into the business (Job check processes and partnering with Immigration Advisors as required).
- Ensuring recruitment processes comply with relevant legislation and support the on-boarding process, assisting hiring managers in monitoring new employees to ensure successful integration and retention.
- Championing the Talent Team. Building others up, communicating well and always be working to support each other to deliver the best possible results for our great firm.

- Proven track record as an internal recruiter in a professional services firm or large, complex organisation, with a deep understanding of a broad range of technical roles.
- Expertise in hiring candidates from overseas and managing international recruitment processes including Immigration NZ Job Check processes.
- Proficiency in using Recruitment Management Systems/Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Workday).
- Can evidence the drive and initiative required to manage a key PwC Talent Portfolio.
- Lead your portfolio with creativity and execute ideas to support excellent client outcomes.
- Experience working in a large, team-based HR environment, with a solid understanding of broader human resource issues and processes is desirable.
- A good read of people overlayed with initiative to predict stakeholder needs and apply logic to decisions and recommendations made to key stakeholders.
- A good level of hustle to work at pace when required.
