Your new role  

This position offers a variety of responsibilities, including receptionist duties and office management, providing administrative support to both the Auckland and Regional offices. The role reports to the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Head Office reception, including answering calls and and greeting internal and external visitors.

  • Supporting the onboarding for new team members.

  • Maintaining inventory levels for all office supplies and kitchen consumables.

  • Coordinating Auckland office facilities, ensuring maintenance standards are met, and liaising with suppliers and contractors.

  • Ad hoc requirements for staff events and special requests as co-ordinated through the EA.

About you  

You enjoy collaborating with others and are a proactive self-starter, committed to ensuring smooth office operations. The QBE team values your reliability and initiative. While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, you will demonstrate:

  • Ownership and responsibility for managing the Auckland office.

  • An independent, proactive approach to work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills, dependability, and a willingness to support the team as needed.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
