Supply Planning Coordinator

Our Supply Chain team is now looking for a Supply Planning Coordinator to join us in supporting our Supplier Engagement Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our operations, building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless processes and exceptional service. 
 

About the Role 
 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving supplier portal adoption and supporting day-to-day supply chain operations. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you’ll act as a subject matter expert on the supplier portal, resolve EDI issues, and manage purchase order accuracy. You’ll also monitor freight forwarding performance and provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency.
 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting supplier onboarding and delivering training on portal processes. 
  • Managing queries and ensuring compliance with portal workflows. 
  • Investigating and resolving EDI failures within agreed SLAs. 
  • Maintaining accurate delivery schedules and supporting PO management. 
  • Monitoring freight forwarder performance and escalating issues as needed. 
  • Generating supply chain reports and KPI dashboards using SAP, AFO, and other platforms.

About You 

You will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable managing multiple priorities. Ideally, you will have: 

  • Experience in supply chain coordination or a similar role. 
  • Knowledge of systems such as SAP and supplier portals. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues. 
  • Confidence in hosting training sessions and presenting to stakeholders. 
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel occasionally to our Distribution Centre in Thatcham.
