Team/Role Overview:

Global Sanctions Operations Transformation team is part of Global Services Sanctions Operations business function. The transformation team is responsible for managing the operations readiness delivery of Sanctions Operations priorities defined via both portfolio of technology and non-technology initiatives.

We are looking for an Operations Program Manager who will oversee the successful execution of multiple programs within the transformation book of work. The role holder is required to be skilled leader with a proven track record, and an appropriate experience on delivering initiatives to transform sanctions business processes end to end such as documents screening, dispositioning and request for information process and other sanctions policy conformance initiatives.

What you’ll do:

The Operations Program Manager enables the Core Operations Team to reengineer their processes and adapt to the changes that build efficiency, implement controls and / or shift towards the target operating model.

Your key responsibility will be to drive transformation programs from initiation to close, making sure the initiatives are delivered efficiently, and change is embedded within operations organisation smoothly and the stated business goals are achieved.

As an Operations Program Manager you will:

  • Partner with stakeholders to describe the problem / issue that we want to solve
  • Identify data to collect and measure and map out how current process works
  • Map how the future process would work and finalize how to implement the solutions
  • Manage multiple transformation program/projects including reporting end-to-end milestones, productivity, risks and issues.
  • Establish a Governance Framework to monitor Implementation of solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to create Epics with defined value, benefit and acceptance criteria and prioritize.
  • Lead Operations Readiness delivery ensuring that all requirements are met for the Core Operations team to go live with the new product, process or application.
  • Prepare senior management reporting and discussion materials to provide transparency and drive timely decision making
  • Monitor project progress and set deadlines.   Maintain the project cadence. Create an accurate timeline of project execution, ensure dependencies are understood and resolved, and tasks are completed as agreed. 
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Specific experience on delivering Sanctions Operations process transformation initiatives
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Significant experience in business change delivery
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a fast-moving change environment
  • Resilient and results oriented, with the ability to influence positive outcomes and deliver best class governance and controls.
  • Forward planning, and problem avoidance and solving skills. Leadership to drive execution while able to minimize tension and ensure the team operates efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$149,600.00 - $224,400.00
