Supply Chain Coordinator-Operating Room-Full Time

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience / Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in a supply chain environment in the health care industry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Experience and knowledge of materials management/supply chain software systems
  • Working knowledge of perpetual and PAR inventory processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing

Position Summary

  • OR equipment coordination: including equipment maintenance, logistics, inventory, repair, and removal of unnecessary equipment.
  • Supply chain coordination: including coordinating all supply orders, monitoring par and Kanban levels, coordinating special, non-stock orders, and validation of deliveries.
  • Vendor coordination: including vendor tray tracking software compliance (i.e.Casechek) , supply and implant tote compliance, and sales representative monitoring compliance with required certifications and physical health satisfaction ( i.e., Vendor Mate).
  • Inventory coordination: coordinate inventory auditing activities and reporting.
  • The Joint Commission compliance coordination: including hallway compliance, storage area compliance, and access area compliance.
  • Supply chain reporting coordination: Assists in supply chain data collection, management, reporting, and analysis.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Requires sitting for long periods of time, also stooping, bending, standing, and stretching.  May require lifting up to 20 lbs.   Must have manual dexterity for typing and computer data entry.  Able to work under a stressful environment, work independently, capable of making sound decisions, be detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs., carry and lift up to 20lbs.
