Job Summary:
IT Application Integration team is a dedicated cross-functional team providing application development and product support to all HKEX business functions, with a particular focus on business automation.
Our business-facing business analysts sit alongside technically proficient developers and solution support staff, providing a unique and dynamic structure for various skill sets to flourish and take on new responsibilities aligned with their interests.
Job Duties:
As a Principal System Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable business solutions leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional in software development, including proven hands-on expertise with the Microsoft Power Platform suite.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development team to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform to meet organizational business needs.
- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Lead and contribute to solution design, code reviews and offer expertise on best practices in development, security, and governance solutions.
- Participate in support activities to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications and workflows as business needs evolve.
- Contribute to the overall architectural vision, ensuring integration and synergy with existing enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience in software development, with 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor.
- Strong background in Power Apps, Power Automate (both Cloud Flow and Desktop), Power BI, and a proven track record of successful solution implementation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Dynamics 365 integration.
- Proficiency with related technologies such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML5, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) concepts and implementation. Experience in RPA tools like Blue Prism and/or UiPath is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or equivalent certification(s).
