As a key member of our team, you’ll help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of station control systems, keeping them aligned with industry standards and operating at peak efficiency. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in control systems software, PLCs, networking, infrastructure, and real time data acquisition, and who enjoys diagnosing complex system issues and delivering practical, effective solutions.

What you will do:
- Responsible for performing regular assessments, updates, improvements, and additions to the GTM (UST) SCADA Systems support knowledge base, including creating and maintaining current documentation such as asset information, architecture diagrams, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure SCADA support team activities align with internal standards and procedures.
- Supports continual improvement of Management of Change (MOC) practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software.
- Create and implement annual plans for managing SCADA software, hardware, and operating systems.
- Perform break-fix tasks and advanced troubleshooting for SCADA applications, interfaces, network communications, and hardware components.
- Responsible for ensuring that SCADA systems are properly maintained and operational, including conducting preventative maintenance checks and rollover tests.
- Responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and implementing changes to displays, data points, devices, and interfaces to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for confirming that systems align with Enbridge specifications, policies, applicable industry standards, and vendor specific requirements for existing and new equipment as it pertains to cyber security.
- Ensure that standards and guidelines in the delivery and maintenance of systems are followed.
- Responsible for timely execution of operating system and application security patches on GTM systems.
- Conducts due diligence on change requests.
- Support the completion of assigned projects through display builds and/or system configurations, and commissioning ICS systems application changes following standard operating practices.
- Analyze, configure, modify, test, implement, document, and train on system functionality.
- Works with leadership to meet financial and actionable goals.
Who you are:
You have:
- 6+ years of experience implementing and sustaining SCADA/HMI control systems along with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering, electrical engineering or engineering science
- Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic controllers, RTU, meters, networking equipment, fiber optic equipment, and others in addition to SCADA historian
- An acceptable driving record that will be verified upon hire
You can:
- Offer a solid understanding of building of points, facilities, and graphics in SCADA systems and experience with point-to-point verifications in SCADA with field personnel
- Show working knowledge of VMware tools and virtual environments along with strong Microsoft office skills using Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook with proven experience working with Cygnet and ACM applications
- Provide network administration knowledge
You are:
- An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to include root cause analysis
- Familiar with industrial communication and automation workflow in addition to networking, cyber security and firewalls while being analytical and offering troubleshooting skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
The following are considered assets:
- Proven experience with Cygnet Application Suite and Autosol Communication Manager

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
