We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for both our internal platform capabilities and our unified client experience portal. In this role, you will bring together engineering, design, security, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts to enable powerful capabilities for clients, for internal customers, and for our other product teams.
You will own end‑to‑end product work across discovery, roadmap definition, backlog shaping, delivery partnership, production validation, and go‑to‑market enablement. This role requires strong technical depth, systems thinking, the ability to hold architecture, user experience, operational constraints, and business tradeoffs in balance, and the leadership presence to influence across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end development lifecycle for our platform and unified client gateway—collaborating with engineering, design, and subject matter experts.
Define and drive the team’s product strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. Facilitate transparent, cross‑functional prioritization to maintain and communicate a living roadmap that balances new capabilities, technical debt, and operational reliability.
Understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories, organizing and prioritizing the development backlog for engineering teams.
Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and process owners to identify and drive the change necessary to deliver impact, regardless of where it needs to happen.
Lead effective integrations between our products and other enterprise systems, including vendor offerings.
Drive effective decisions on when to build vs buy vs partner to deliver results.
Own production validation, feature testing, and bug verification to ensure high‑quality, reliable releases.
Support change management and go‑to‑market efforts for new platform capabilities, including documentation, release notes, and help center content.
Partner with customer enablement, marketing, and change management teams to support demos, training, onboarding, and adoption.
Manage feature flags and release gating, determining which users gain access to which capabilities and when.
Conduct structured beta testing and usability research, synthesizing feedback and prioritizing improvements ahead of general availability.
Research market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to improve platform capabilities.
Collaborate with product analytics to define and track success metrics, interpret usage data, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
Mentor and guide other product managers, fostering their growth and raising the bar for product management practices across the team.
Keep business unit leaders and executive stakeholders informed and aligned on strategy, progress, and risks.
Support business unit technology strategy, including architecture alignment and integration of third‑party solutions.
Stay current with product management best practices and AI trends, incorporating modern tools, frameworks, and capabilities into the platform and delivery process.
Hold a high bar for security, user experience, reliability, quality, and ways of working.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ability to partner deeply with engineering teams and designers.
Strong technical fluency—solid understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), databases, system design, and modern software architecture.
Proven ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into clear product direction and user-friendly experiences.
Experience navigating organizations, data, and processes to translate complexity into action that solves meaningful, complex problems and delivers real-world solutions.
Experience working closely with software engineers, defining technical requirements, and participating in architecture discussions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting and influencing executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven, customer‑centric mindset.
Track record of successfully delivering and scaling software products.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and modern product management tooling.
Familiarity with security and compliance standards and modern platforms, architecture, and integration patterns.
Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS platforms and shared platform capabilities (e.g., identity, access control, roles and permissions).
Strong inclination to act with agency—figure out how to move forward most productively while communicating effectively along the way.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or API‑driven integrations.
Experience working in tax, accounting, or other compliance‑driven industries such as healthcare or finance.
Experience leveraging generative AI or building agentic AI solutions within a product context.
Track record of mentoring product managers or leading a product management function.
