This role is responsible for driving visibility, discipline, and accountability across a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes are consistently surfaced to senior leadership.

You will operate in a central capacity to bridge strategy to execution through strong governance, structured reporting, and proactive issue management. The role ensures that key messages, milestones, and decisions reach leadership in a timely, consistent, and actionable manner, enabling informed prioritization and course correction across the technology organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Own portfolio-level execution management for complex, cross‑functional technology and employee experience initiatives, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and leadership expectations
  • Establish and run governance routines (cadence reviews, operating updates, escalation paths) that provide senior leaders with a clear, ongoing line of sight into progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain integrated portfolio reporting, including milestone tracking, delivery health, capacity considerations, and decision‑ready summaries for executive and operating committee forums
  • Partner with initiative owners and functional leads to ensure plans are realistic, dependencies are surfaced early, and delivery risks are actively managed
  • Translate strategy into executable plans, ensuring initiatives are clearly scoped, prioritized, sequenced, and measured against defined success criteria
  • Drive consistency and rigor in how work is planned, tracked, and reported across initiatives reducing noise while increasing transparency and comparability
  • Identify trends, systemic risks, and execution gaps across the portfolio and proactively surface recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure leadership communications reflect execution reality, progress made, and decisions required focusing on clarity, timing, and consistency rather than narrative development
  • Act as a trusted execution advisor to senior leaders by anticipating information needs, framing trade‑offs, and enabling fact‑based decision making
  • Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide
  • Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ years of experience managing or supporting large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives with senior leadership visibility
  • 6+ years of proven experience establishing governance models, execution cadence, and portfolio‑level reporting in a complex enterprise environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong experience with portfolio management, program governance, and execution discipline, including milestone tracking, risk management, and dependency coordination
  • Ability to synthesize execution data into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior leaders
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and execution health reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify execution challenges, assess root causes, and drive resolution across organizational boundaries
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology planning, funding, and governance processes
  • Experience working across Technology, HR, Finance, and Strategy functions to align priorities and delivery
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and tight timelines while maintaining execution rigor
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project, to support planning and reporting needs
  • Experience operating in agile and hybrid delivery environments, with the ability to align non‑standard teams to consistent execution practices
