Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst delivers high-impact financial analysis to support company performance, focusing on advanced analytics of sales, margin, operating costs, and capital expenditures. This role serves as a key specialist in supply chain datasets—supporting business strategy by extracting insights and optimizing financial incentives on a by-vendor basis. The analyst will also support accounting for vendor rebates and help ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to provide actionable business insights and clear reporting for business leaders, highlighting opportunities to improve financial performance across the supply chain but also areas impacting sales, margin, operating cost, and capex.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and dashboards focused on vendor performance, rebate programs, and related KPIs.

  • Forecast and evaluate vendor performance using quantitative models and comprehensive metric analysis; provide recommendations to maximize value from vendor arrangements.

  • Partner with procurement, vendor management, and business operations on strategies to improve vendor relationships and optimize incentives.

  • Review and provide strategic financial input on draft vendor agreements; ensure final agreements are tracked and monitored for financial performance and compliance.

  • Support account reconciliation, budgeting, and analysis for select general ledger accounts—especially related to vendor rebates and incentives.

  • Work with vendors to reconcile reports and payment discrepancies, ensuring proper financial documentation.

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure rebates and incentives are properly recorded, accrued, and reported in compliance with company policies.

  • Assist the Senior Manager with ad hoc financial analysis and research projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 3–5 years’ professional experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience with large/complex datasets required.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate results to senior leadership.

  • CPA or MBA a plus.

  • Public accounting experience is a plus, but finance/analytics orientation is most important.

Bilingual, Military, Military Spouses and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply! We understand the uniqueness of hiring military personnel and veterans and will support him/her in the time of duty or with the transition into new civilian professions.
