Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. As we enter the agentic era, Data Foundations (formerly MuleSoft) plays a critical role in enabling AI readiness, integration, and enterprise transformation. This business is foundational to how customers connect data, systems, and experiences across their organizations.

Salesforce is seeking a senior commercial leader to serve as the ANZ Country Leader for Data Foundations. This role goes beyond traditional second-line sales leadership. It is a strategic market ownership position responsible for defining and scaling the ANZ go-to-market strategy in close partnership with Core Sales and cross-functional executive stakeholders.

This leader will operate with high autonomy, shaping the regional strategy, driving institutional alignment, and building a sustainable growth engine in a complex, matrixed global environment.

Your Impact

Country & Market Leadership

  • Own the ANZ Data Foundations business strategy, performance, and long-term growth trajectory.

  • Define and execute the regional go-to-market model in partnership with Core Sales leadership.

  • Act as the executive sponsor for the business in-region, representing Data Foundations across internal and external forums.

  • Shape market positioning around integration, data strategy, and AI readiness within enterprise accounts.

Strategic GTM Execution

  • Architect territory and coverage models aligned to regional opportunity.

  • Drive pipeline creation, specialist attach strategy, and enterprise expansion plays.

  • Leverage the partner ecosystem to accelerate growth and market presence.

  • Identify whitespace opportunities and drive new logo acquisition alongside expansion within existing customers.

Matrix Leadership & Executive Influence

  • Operate effectively within a highly matrixed global model.

  • Influence senior stakeholders across Core Sales, Marketing, Solution Engineering, Alliances, and Global Leadership without direct authority.

  • Navigate competing priorities and ensure alignment between specialist and core motions.

  • Manage up remotely, ensuring visibility, clarity, and strategic alignment with global leadership.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive rigorous forecasting, pipeline health, and performance management.

  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategy and optimize outcomes.

  • Ensure disciplined execution while maintaining long-term strategic focus.

Talent & Culture

  • Build, hire, and develop high-performing frontline leaders and Account Executives.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.

  • Develop succession bench strength within the ANZ region.

Requirements

  • Senior second-line sales leadership experience managing multiple teams or regions.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a country or business unit leader with end-to-end accountability.

  • Experience defining and scaling specialist or overlay GTM motions within a matrixed organization.

  • Strong executive presence with a track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Deep understanding of the ANZ enterprise market.

  • Experience in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, integration, data platforms, or adjacent enterprise technologies.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage partners at the executive level.

  • Extensive experience in the technology industry, ideally with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions, and a strong understanding of the CRM space.

  • A strategic attitude with the ability to synthesize complex data and craft actionable insights for growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with business owners to support their technology needs.

  • Experience managing high velocity high volume complex sales territories.

  • Expertise in recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse sales talent.

  • Experience managing sales across multiple products.

This is not a usual RVP role, it requires higher level of capabilities including:

  • GTM strategy & execution (requires more independence than a regular core RVP with local senior leadership)

  • Senior stakeholder management, especially with core; institutional relationship/knowledge will be beneficial

  • Managing up remotely

  • Influence and informal leadership

  • Deep understanding of ANZ market as well as Mule (or similar product)
