Research Fellow (Science of Learning in Education Centre) [NIE]

The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Fellow (part-time) on a 3-month contract at the Science of Learning in Education Centre.

Project Title: Role of leucine versus protein supplementation for quality weight loss in elderly

Project Introduction: Human research project on dietary interventions to preserve muscle mass during weight loss.

Requirements:

• PhD in exercise physiology, nutrition or related areas.
• Research expertise on muscle preservation during weight loss
• Experience in conducting human research
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and SPSS
• Meticulous and responsible with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Data collation, statistical analyses and data presentation
• Literature review
• Conference abstract and presentation preparation
• Manuscript writing and report writing
• Grant administration and grant proposal preparation and writing
• Any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator
