Purchase Order Analyst (w/m/d)

Purpose:

The Purchase Order Analyst is a critical link between the organization and its global vendor network, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of finished goods into distribution centers. The role strengthens supply chain performance by managing purchase orders, monitoring delivery execution, and ensuring adherence to global processes. The role operates in a global, fast-paced environment and interacts with internal partners across supply planning, sourcing, logistics, production, and distribution centers, as well as external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely PO issuance and reconciliation of all POs in regional affiliate ERP systems (e.g. SAP-AFS) to meet KPI’s.
  • Execute, Manage and Revise all global production PO's accordingly and ensure optimized transport modes in function of Service level and cost.
  • Review production priorities/deliveries in partnership with Inventory Management, and follow-up for improvements, deferments, and cancellations
  • Resolve PO errors and PO interface issues per service level agreement
  • Balance the right decisions between business needs, vendor requests and transportation constraints.
  • Review master data and ensure all set-up is completed prior to PO issuance, and work with global and regional partners to fix as necessary (SSM/RP/PD/IM)
  • Ensure High Priority programs are tracked from PO Issuance to DC receipt and re-prioritize/ escalate with inbound logistics and DC teams as necessary. 
  • Support ship risks analysis and assist regional IM planners with prioritization/ escalation/revision requests to Global Supply Planning/Sourcing Teams/Vendors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (logistics, production, DC, CIM) in order to reach the best service levels within deadlines.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years in supply chain,or sourcing preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Excel; ability to analyze large datasets
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset
  • Comfortable learning new tools quickly

  • Ability to identify issues impacting deliveries and take immediate action.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
