Purchasing & Commercial Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

The Purchasing Manager & Commercial Manager is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities to ensure the organization obtains high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role focuses on cost optimization, risk management, and supply continuity.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Lead RFQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, and pricing agreements
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, supply chain)
  • Track procurement KPIs and prepare reports
  • Sourcing cost saving 
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Analytical and cost management abilities
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and risk management
  • Data Centre/ GPU/ Software Storage knowledge (nice to have)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Master’s degree (MBA) preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are a plus
  • Typically 5-10 years in procurement or supply chain roles 
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations
