This role contributes to building long-term capability within Direct Procurement by supporting scalable processes, digital solutions, financial transparency, and governance structures.
You will drive the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of end-to-end (E2E) Direct Procurement processes in a global, cross-functional environment, helping shape the future-ready procurement landscape through automation, standardization, and improved data transparency.
Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and digital solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA and GEP Nexxe), you will translate business requirements into process and system designs aligned with the enterprise Demand-to-Pay framework.
You will operate within global transformation programs, contributing as both a functional expert and hands-on delivery contributor. Working in an agile (SAFe) environment, you will represent Diagnostic Direct Procurement, influence design decisions, and support solutions to cross-functional challenges.
Support Direct Procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA and GEP Nexxe initiatives.
Assist in aligning Direct Procurement with enterprise Demand-to-Pay templates and governance standards.
Lead or participate in workshops, fit-to-template sessions, and agile ceremonies to represent Direct Procurement.
Contribute to cross-functional problem-solving initiatives and influence stakeholders across teams.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
Analyze current-state E2E Direct Procurement processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct gap analyses, root-cause assessments, and impact evaluations.
Support the design of future-state processes aligned with global standards and scalable operating models.
Contribute to harmonization across regions and business units while maintaining flexibility.
Maintain process documentation (BPMN, workflows, SOPs, RACI).
Gather and validate business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
Translate requirements into functional specifications for SAP S/4HANA, GEP Nexxe, and related systems.
Participate in fit-to-template and fit-gap sessions.
Define user stories and acceptance criteria; support testing cycles to ensure alignment with requirements.
Provide functional expertise for Direct Procurement within transformation initiatives.
Ensure integration with e.g. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Warehousing, Commercial, Global Tax, and Legal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, digital enablement, and analytics.
Support configuration validation, defect resolution, and use-case definition for AI/digital solutions.
Support the development of business cases for process improvements and system enhancements.
Assist in quantifying financial and operational impact (cost savings, efficiency gains, working capital improvement).
Define baseline metrics and track value realization post-implementation.
Support deployment activities including data validation, training, go-live readiness, and hypercare.
Drive change management initiatives to drive adoption and engagement.
Build positive stakeholder relationships and support transparent communication.
Monitor KPIs and process performance, document lessons learned, and support best practices for governance.
University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in business analysis, functional consulting, or process transformation roles in matrix organizations.
Experience in consulting environments or advisory roles is a plus.
Solid end-to-end (E2E) Procurement process understanding, including Demand-to-Pay integration.
Knowledge of cross-functional interfaces such as Supply Chain Planning, Transportation Management, Warehousing, and Commercial operations.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM / Procurement modules) and procurement collaboration platforms such as GEP Nexxe.
Experience with global transformation programs; familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) is beneficial.
Business process analysis and requirement gathering capabilities, including fit-gap analysis, functional specifications, and user stories; certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
Solution design orientation, balancing standardization with flexibility and digital enablement.
Project management skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Change management and stakeholder engagement experience; Prosci or similar certification is a plus..
Financial awareness, including experience supporting business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and value tracking.
Ability to define KPIs, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks.
Data-driven approach with ability to interpret operational and financial data.
Good communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Ability to work effectively without formal authority and navigate global, matrix structures.
