Are you looking for a highly visible logistics leadership role that allows you to shape production strategy and drive efficiency? If so, this Logistics and Production Planning Director could be an exciting opportunity to explore.
As a Logistics and Production Planning Director, you will be responsible for administration and operation of warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Provide team leadership on portfolio management strategy, (“air traffic control”) capability to provide visibility and communicate progress on the program of product launches, network changes and/or product introductions against deployment milestones.
Accountable for business continuity forecast and planning for future New Product Introductions (NPI)/New Business Introductions (NBI) requiring support from the Global Logistics (GL) NPI Team.
Own and lead the GL NPI program of projects to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver product launch/ “first shipment” activities for new products annually.
Accountable for risk management in support of the GL NPI/NBI delivery teams.
Escalation point for the GL NPI streams supporting NPIs pre-launch and launch activities across End to End Supply Chains to ensure alignment to one plan, visibility on risks and issues and successful delivery of NPIs.
Stakeholder management and communication, along with resource review against NPI Forecast allocation alignment.
Build confidence across all stakeholders in leading the NPI/NBI strategic revenue and portfolio ambition.
Provide guidance and support on remediating/turning around projects in difficulty or need of senior level intervention.
Ensure proper definition of and understanding of program and Individual launch objectives, targets and deliverables, assisting in project prioritization where there is overload.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree
10 or more years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience
Experience developing new product and business introduction programs
Leadership experience in a highly regulated environment
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Master’s degree
Strong project management and continuous improvement expertise
Sound working knowledge of global logistics
