The Manager, Global Accounting Process is responsible for executing transformation
processes, implementing best practices and KPIs while leveraging technology to ensure efficient and effective financial reporting.
This role is pivotal in executing centralization and standardization of process, ability to monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborating with process teams to continuously enhance operational efficiency. The Manager, Global Accounting Process, will collaborate closely with both the Business Process Automation team and the Digital & Technology team on the identification, design and implementation of technology solutions.

About the role:
- Process Centralization Standardization & Optimization:
- Identify, plan and execute global standardization of finance processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report) to enhance efficiency and synergy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, eliminating redundancies and promoting best practices.
- Execute phase wise the transformation road map in partnership across all key stakeholders, including the Global Accounting team, outsourced partners, controllership and commercial teams.
- Live and spread a culture of continuous process improvement
- Support the design and implementation of new processes as the result of new accounting and/or control requirements
- Automation & Centralization:
- Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for automation and centralization, leveraging technologies such as RPA, AI and ERP
- Partner with both the Business Process Automation team and the Digital and Technology team on the identification, design and implementation of technology solutions. Evaluate required changes and simplification opportunities in Global Accounting processes from the implementation of the global ERP system
- Transition Management:
- Plan and execute the transition of accounting activities into the Global accounting model, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and minimal disruption to operations.
- KPI Monitoring & Performance Management:
- Establish KPIs computation and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of processes.
- Develop and implement a plan in collaboration with Process owners for process changes/mitigations to ensure operational bottlenecks are remediated
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with process owners, controllers, affiliates and other stakeholders to gather feedback, requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment on transformation objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote the adoption of new processes and tools.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes, soliciting feedback, and implementing enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform transformation strategies.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, CA/ ICWA or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Accounting skills with a detailed understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and SEC reporting.
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and effective communication skills are a must.
- 7+ years of experience in a shared services environment into finance process improvements.
- Proven track record of leading accounting process transitions, management and transformation.
- Strong understanding of Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay and Record to Report processes and SAP S/4, Expense and Invoice Management systems.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, Gen AI) and partner (e.g., Blackline, Appzen,)
- Project management skills and certifications such as PMP are preferred.
