Park Studios is a team of creatives working closely with brands to deliver breakthrough ideas. We leverage our unique position inside GE Appliances to drive creativity and agility with our brand partners. The Photography Specialist works in Park Studios, a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment where efficiency and excellent work are top priorities. The Photography Specialist will work with our Art Director & Videographer to help plan, set-up, and complete photo sessions. This role is responsible for taking clear, dynamic photos according to the Creative Manager’s specifications. Their duties include setting up backdrops, lighting, and equipment to prepare for a photo shoot, directing models, shooting, editing and delivery of final assets.

How You'll Create Possibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Photography Production (Pre-Production + On-Set Execution) (35%)

  • Plan and execute studio and/or on-location photography, including shot list development, lighting design, equipment setup, composition, and image capture.

  • Produce product and brand imagery that meets creative direction and technical requirements across multiple categories and use cases.

  • Adjust shoot execution and creative approach in response to changing priorities, project scope, or stakeholder feedback.

Post-Production / Editing & Retouching (30%)

  • Edit and retouch photography assets using color correction, cleanup, compositing, and enhancement techniques to meet brand standards and quality expectations.

  • Deliver final, production-ready images in required formats with consistent visual treatment across sets and campaigns.

  • Prepare and package assets for handoff by applying file naming conventions, version control, and organized exports.

Creative & Quality Leadership (15%)

  • Maintain and enforce studio photography standards for lighting, image quality, and visual consistency across all outputs.

  • Evaluate and elevate creative and technical quality by implementing continuous improvement initiatives and new studio best practices.

  • Integrate emerging product trends and photography/AI tools to improve product presentation, creative outcomes, and workflow efficiency.

Project Management + Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination (15%)

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently by prioritizing work, maintaining schedules, and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on creative direction, requirements, approvals, and delivery expectations.

  • Coordinate internal and external production resources (models, stylists, hair/makeup artists, agencies.

Studio Operations (5%)

  • Maintain studio equipment and lighting tools through organization, upkeep, and readiness for scheduled production.

  • Track and update equipment inventory and studio resources to support efficient production workflows.

  • Archive and manage image files and final deliverables using standardized storage and retrieval practices.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Media Production, Videography, Art, Communications, or related field.

  • 3 years of professional photography and/or relevant work experience.

  • Proven ability to produce seamless studio product images and product-focused lifestyle imagery.

  • Ability to translate creative direction into clear, high-quality photo execution.

  • Understanding of color, texture, and light, and how these elements work together with ability to use Animation software (3D Max, Autodesk Maya)

  • Experience with Canon hardware, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Ai/CGI capability a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced studio lighting and experience photographing challenging materials that are reflective, metallic, transparent, etc.

  • Strong retouching and compositing skills (masking, cleanup, color matching).

  • Experience working in a high-volume fast-paced studio environment with strong prioritization and deadline management.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed on-site in a production studio and requires regular setup and handling of photography equipment and lighting fixtures, including the ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs as needed.
