Our Pediatric Surgery Scheduling Supervisor will manage surgical scheduling at the specialty level. They will be responsible for facilitating communications between the service lines, specialty clinics, surgery locations, surgery scheduling and PreAnesthesia Clinic (PAC), and maintaining surgical scheduler team calendars and builds. This person will maintain confidential information and support all other surgery and procedural scheduling activities. 

What you will do as a Pediatric Surgery Scheduling Supervisor:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Pediatric Surgical Scheduler team (this is a working supervisor position)
  • Provides expertise in system level surgical scheduling planning
  • Primary escalation and problem solving resource for clinic and physicians leaders
  • Participates in and leads in process improvement projects
  • Responsible for working with clinic staff to facilitate scheduling of surgical cases.
  • Ensures schedules remain up-to-date
  • Takes accurate messages via phone, Vocera, RTLS, paging or in-person in a professional manner and directs such communications as appropriate.
  • Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions.

What you will need:

  • High School Degree (some post HS education or training in supervision, healthcare or office management preferred.)
  • At least two years of office management/service experience and/or training
  • 3 years’ experience in busy setting service area requiring multi-tasking abilities and exceptional customer service skills
  • 2 years supervisory work in a healthcare setting

Location: 2512 S. 7th St. Minneapolis MN

Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week

Compensation:

61,336.00 - 88,938.00 USD Annual
