What You'll Do:
Technical Certification Services supports business process testing for internal and external business users including:
Externally requested testing of real-time and batch data interfaces, facilitating roundtrip testing through OCC systems for on-boarding, new or expanded external capabilities and software, OCC expanded functionality and industry initiatives to ensure external party readiness,
Business process discovery testing, internal controls and audit verifications for internal OCC departments, New Products testing, RPA support, and other test related efforts as requested
In addition, Technical Certification Services supports Production Connectivity and Production DDS Maintenance activities as requested on behalf of Business Operations groups.
The Technical Certification Services QA Manager will oversee day-to-day operations including building team strategy, employee development, and creating/maintaining department policies and procedures. This position requires a mix of business and technical knowledge. Specifically with the ability to liaise between functions to support business process verification and utilize technology to meet business goals while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsible for triaging test requests, liaising with internal/external business and technical resources to scope and schedule efforts prior to assigning direct testing resources.
Forecasts testing associated with industry wide efforts, on-boarding new business partners and working with internal departments to facilitate custom business scenario efforts.
Performs impact analysis and plan for certification testing (internal, external or simulation) and documentation efforts related to OCC Projects. Manages the overall deliverables.
Actively creates and fosters excellent customer service driven relationships with OCC external parties and internal business departments.
Coordinates the overall testing schedule, environment maintenance and external party connectivity.
Ensures proper execution of process/procedure/controls as it relates to Production Connectivity and Production DDS Maintenance requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Proactively respond to both external and internal inquiries, prioritizes and distributes departmental tasks for assignment.
For testing efforts associated with internal project work, actively participate in project meetings to provide testing status. Report any missing/incomplete capabilities identified during testing and escalating any impacts to the overall project timeline to management.
Lead in the creation and development of test strategies and test scripts that efficiently meet the needs of the external/internal project.
Serves as a resource in problem solving and troubleshooting support for team, management and department stakeholders.
Understands environment requirements and can oversee maintenance activities including upgrading, analyzing impacts to active test environments and coordinating the implementation of those changes.
Oversee completion of Production Connectivity and Production DDS Maintenance requests as required in a timely fashion with adherence to process controls.
Ability to execute testing, as required, in assistance to completing departmental objectives and efforts.
Complete various projects and initiatives assigned by Management.
Supervisory Requirements
Manage team of 5-10 testing resources.

Technical Skills:
Requires a broad knowledge of systems and application development technological alternatives: familiarity with Client/Server concepts (i.e. Java, JSP, Servlet, C++, HTML, Unix/Linux, SQL), Mainframe (TSO navigation, basic file editing, job monitoring), Unix/Linux (basic VI Editor skills), and scheduling packages (UC4).
Understanding of relational database models. Experience in SQL (DB2, SQL server; queries, data manipulation, reading data models).
Familiarity with XML concepts and structures.
Familiarity with real-time (MQ) and batch (SFTP) protocols.
Education and/or Experience:
1-3 years management or direct supervisory experience. Experience with remote management a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
At least 5 years’ IT experience (System/Business Analyst, QA or Business Process testing in a structured quality environment).
Experience in developing test scope and plans, project management, SDLC methodology.
General securities markets, derivatives and options knowledge preferred.

Compensation
Salary Range
$116,000.00 - $201,200.00Incentive Range
8% to 15%This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
