About the Role

In the role of Transducer Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within our Automotive Audio Division.  You will be responsible for transducer development which is used in vehicle, including virtual design (simulation), sample validation, cost efficacy check. You will work closely a with global team to present design solutions.


What You Will Do

  • Work with globe team for all Transducer Engineering activities form design concept to SOP.

  • Frequently communicate with cross functional teams in different countries.

  • Produce all relevant documentation such as Bills of Material’s, Sketches, Simulation data, Acoustic data sheets, DFMEA’s, DVP&R’s and all other documentation required to support the design process.

  • Lead system team with problem solving techniques to overcome for all transducer issues and obstacles from RFI/RFQ, concept design, DV, PV to SOP.

  •  Keep up to date with the latest developments in world class best practice in relation to audio product design, simulation, analysis and measurements, materials and manufacturing techniques.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Acoustics, Electronics, or other related field.

  • 5 years’ related experience in transducer design could be considered if good knowledge at automotive speakers.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in English.

  • Strong knowledge of design and manufacturing principle used to create and manufacture transducer.

  • Strong knowledge of FEA techniques for loudspeaker simulation, COMSOL would be better.

  • Familiar with Microsoft office software.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Master’s degree majoring in Acoustics, Electronics, or other related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in transducer design.

  • Previous manufacturing operations experience of transducers.

  • Detail oriented demonstrated ability from theoretical to implementation-based thinking.

  • Background in automotive speakers.
