Job Description Summary

The Client Accounting Lease Coordinator is the point of contact for all lease and tenancy document matters. This position receives, interprets, abstracts, and inputs data into Client’s accounting systems ensuring consistency, quality control, and adherence to SOC requirements of Cushman & Wakefield, the client, and Property Managers servicing the client’s portfolio. The Lease Administrator communicates with Client’s Asset, Development, and Finance Managers, auditors and IT team, Property Management teams, and the Cushman & Wakefield accounting team. Other functions include maintenance of Client building/suite information in accounting software, tracking key lease information, and maintenance of Client’s SharePoint site related to tenant document retention.

Job Description

Essential Job Duties:  

• Collaborate, evaluate, and assist transition coordinators with day to day work load, special projects to meet deadlines.

• Abstract leases into Yardi, MRI, or other databases to accurately account for all essential lease terms including revenue and recoveries and produce approved rent rolls

• Provide support to Property Management by addressing questions and issues relating to lease interpretation and abstracting. Assist in implement training for lease abstracting to new employees. Special projects as assigned

• Responsible for creation of standard forms, policies, and procedures as pertains to the lease administration duties

• Perform detailed audits of lease information to verify accuracy and consistency across the department

• Perform other related duties as required or requested

Education/Experience/Training:  

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or vocational school

Work Experience:  

• Requires some experience, but less than one year

• Specialized Knowledge/Skills - Knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or similar lease administration software; Experience in commercial real estate and basic accounting knowledge, including understanding Property Management functions, lease administration, and tenant leases; Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Ability to understand, interpret, and abstract complex real estate lease terminology

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 68,000.00 - $80,000.00
