Join our team as a Lead Data Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Transplant Diagnostic division, where you will develop predictive models and support market intelligence efforts that guide our global strategy. If you have a track record in quantitative modeling, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive and market-sizing models that quantify trends in transplant diagnostics.

  • Build Excel and Power BI tools that leverage SQL-based data sources to estimate customer product usage and sales potential.

  • Integrate and reconcile datasets to craft reliable, analysis-ready data tables.

  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to validate assumptions and align insights with divisional goals.

  • Support occasional market research activities, including questionnaire development, survey execution, and gathering voice-of-customer insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, or related field.

  • 7+ years working in data analytics, quantitative modeling, or forecasting.

  • Proficiency in SQL, data architecture, and relational database management.

  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

  • Track record of developing predictive or market models using multi-variable datasets.

  • Experience in diagnostics or life sciences analytics is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Expertise in integrating and matching data across multiple systems.

  • Comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve analysis.

  • Ability to support straightforward market research tasks, such as survey design or VOC gathering.

  • Self-starter who enjoys building analytical tools and processes from the ground up.

  • Collaborative partner with strong listening skills who connects technical outputs to business strategy.

  • Strong dedication to data integrity and ethical data practices.
