Location
We are hiring for two Judicial Assistant II's. In this position you can expect to work on site at the City and County Building, located at 1437 Bannock Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM.
The DCC
The mission of Denver County Court is to administer justice fairly, efficiently, and effectively; provide excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment where employees enjoy their work. The City and County of Denver’s third branch of government is comprised of 19 judges, 4 full-time magistrates, and 250 staff members. Case types include state, civil, protection orders, small claims, traffic, criminal, and other general sessions cases within the City and County of Denver. The Division
The combined Traffic and Civil Division is the highest volume division in Denver County Court- serving more than 60,000 customers a year. Unique to the Judicial Associate I position in Small Claims is there is one assigned clerk and opportunity to work closely with the judicial officer assigned, court mediators, and clerk’s office staff.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Education Requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of experience in a court, law enforcement or legal setting.
Education and Experience Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the education and experience requirements with the exception of the two years of experience in court, law enforcement or legal setting.
License/Certification Requirement: Must be able to pass an initial pre-security clearance screening and maintain CBI (Colorado Bureau of Investigation) certification as a condition of employment.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
