Agropur is looking for a Human Capital Business Partner to join its Beauceville team.
The Human Capital Business Partner acts as an influencer within the establishment for management teams and employees. The incumbent advises and coordinates activities related to work relations, health and safety, recruitment, engagement, skills development, succession planning, and other human resources management activities. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting the site’s management team and participating in management and employee committees.

Salary scale 005: $82 600 to103 200$ (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position).
What this role involves:
More specifically, the Human Capital Business Partner:
Is part of the plant management committee.
Contributes to the development and deployment of the strategic action plan for human capital (HC) at the site.
Acts as a change agent for site managers under their responsibility by recommending appropriate actions aimed at proactive human capital management.
Interprets the collective agreement, including managing the grievance resolution process, and works closely with the union executive to maintain good labor relations.
Advises managers on company practices, policies, and procedures for proactive human resources management, while ensuring sound application.
Interprets legal texts and regulations, identifies their impacts, communicates them, and ensures follow-up.
Collaborates on continuous improvement processes related to human resources management.
Participates in and coordinates organizational development activities.
Acts as a change agent in implementing a positive health and safety culture.
In collaboration with the disability management team, ensures relevant information is collected, assists with follow-up, and manages the return-to-work program.
Carries out and participates in organizational development, performance management, and succession planning activities.
Acts as a change agent by influencing HR-related practices.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a generalist in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Functional English.
Professional HR certification (an asset).
High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations and documents.
Strong internal consulting skills with the ability to promote and influence change and a willingness to take risks.
Ability to build relationships by adapting approach and style to business leaders.
Aptitude to collaborate effectively with the business to identify, assess, select, reward, and develop talent to meet current and future needs.
Solid business acumen with strategic thinking skills.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS systems, and Outlook.
Strong analytical skills.
Good knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Effective communication, both oral and written, with executives, managers, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Maintain a professional attitude when collaborating with others and work to sustain constructive working relationships.
