As our Global Responsible Operations Manager in the Strategy Management Office (part of Global Operations) you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer and realization of updating the GN Group's overall Sustainability Strategy.
You will play a critical role in supporting the Strategic Sustainability Program in Global Operations and be responsible for further development and implementation of Long-Term Renewable Energy Plan.
You will also coordinate and support continuous improvements of sustainability performance across our Manufacturing Sites and Regional Operations Centers (incl. guidance in energy efficiency initiatives and alignment and integration of RBA standards).

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will report to the Sustainability Excellence & Compliance Lead, be part of shaping the new Sustainability Team and collaborate with relevant functions across Global Operations, Group Sustainability, and P&C.
You will join Strategy Management office in GO – a global, diverse and versatile team developing and coordinating the execution of our GO Strategy.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Manage and coordinate sustainability projects across GN sites, ensuring alignment with GN sustainability strategy and site-level operations.
Ensure implementation of renewable energy solutions in collaboration with site representatives, Group Sustainability and GO leadership.
Identify, evaluate, and implement energy optimization opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and operational costs (.
Secure readiness for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Audit Program ( audits and ensure continuous compliance with sustainability and ethical standards.
Develop and maintain global procedures, tools, and reporting processes to ensure standardized sustainability practices across GO sites.
Partner with facility managers to embed sustainability into operational decision-making.
Develop and monitor performance against sustainability KPIs and provide transparent reporting to senior leadership.
Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, regarding sites sustainability performance.
Contribute in knowledge sharing and build sustainability competence within GO teams.
Stay updated on regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
3+ years of experience in sustainability, operations management, or energy management - where candidates with experience within a global manufacturing or industrial context are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated ability to implement projects and initiatives, such as renewable energy and energy optimization.
Experience managing audits, maybe even with RBA VAP or equivalent sustainability/ethical audits.
Understanding of ESG frameworks and certifications like ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and related compliance standards.
Project management experience, with ability to manage cross-functional, multi-site initiatives.
Experience working in a global organization and managing stakeholders across regions.
Leadership and ability to motivate teams and ensuring change across strategic stakeholders.
Critical thinking and data-driven mindset with ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Skilled communicator, able to translate technical and sustainability topics into clear actions for diverse stakeholders.
Adopts digitalization and is open to learning and applying AI-based solutions in everyday work.
