GN is seeking a Head of Corporate Communications to guide and advance our global communication strategy, enhance our reputation and support the engagement and growth of the company. You are an experienced leader who is ready to impact and drive the corporate communication agenda for GN with our team of skilled and motivated communication and branding specialists.
As Head of Corporate Communication, you will be responsible for the unified communications strategy of the GN Group that supports our overall business goals and positions the company as a prominent and responsible leader in our industry. Reporting to the Chief People and Communication Officer you will lead a team of skilled subject matter experts and have direct access to EMT, ELT, senior leaders, and colleagues across the GN Group.
Together, you will ensure that GN Group has a clear and consistent company profile that is relatable and meaningful to internal and external stakeholders alike.
Key responsibilities
You will develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy that is closely aligned with our purpose, strategic priorities, and the GN company culture. Through intentional storytelling, you will bring our company journey, workplace and impact to life demonstrating the value we create for our customers, employees and society as a whole.
Together with the rest of the communication team
You will manage external communication across regions, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging. You will cultivate and sustain positive relationships with prominent media organizations, reporters, and influencers while managing press releases, public statements, media kits, and thought leadership content, in addition to tracking media coverage and public sentiment.
You will provide media training and guidance to leadership when needed and collaborate closely with Investor Relations and Finance to ensure clear, consistent, and credible communication to the investor community in our quarterly and annual reports.
You will enhance internal communication to keep employees aligned with strategy and developments, united across regions, and motivated to advance our purpose.
You will aid leaders in crafting speeches, presentations, and relay key messages for their different audiences and act as communication advisor to EMT and ELT and senior leaders, helping them articulate GN strategy, performance, and culture.
You will oversee initiatives that enhance the company's corporate brand, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and that the communication function speaks with one voice.
You will drive our corporate social media strategy. You will oversee the development of impactful content across channels and use data and insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.
You stay on top of new trends, technologies, and best practices, including AI-driven tools and platforms, and incorporate these into our overall communication activities.

As Head of Corporate Communication you will be part of the People and Communication function and join the People & Communication leadership team. You will lead an organization of currently 9 employees covering all aspects of communication; internal communication, media & SoMe and corporate branding. We value an open and informal work environment, where trust, collaboration, and learning are important elements.
You will work closely with the Executive Management team and key stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, Investor Relations, and regional/business unit leaders.
The role will be located in GN´s Headquarter in Ballerup.
More about you
Proven track record from a key leadership role driving strategic corporate communication in a listed mid-sized company (+3 year)
Comfortable setting strategic direction and skilled in navigating internal developments and an evolving business environment.
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, PR, or related fields in an international environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans that support business growth and brand positioning.
Proficient storytelling skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
Experience with internal/employee communication and change communication.
Experience building and managing relationships with media and other key external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to advise and collaborate with senior executives.
Fluidity in written and verbal communication in English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
