Location: Hybrid Remote-Hanscom AFB, MA
As a Cloud Systems Administrator IV, you will maintain the smooth operation of various cloud-based systems, including coordination with network administrators. You will set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tune system performance, install system-wide software, and allocate mass storage space. You will respond to large-scale events involving the instantiation of virtual resources such as virtual machines (VMs) and storage. You will troubleshoot and resolve critical software and system failures.
You will propose, drive, and implement technical solutions that improve automation, operational efficiency, and scalability. Additionally, you will develop and enhance tools, reports, and processes used to monitor the health of cloud environments and provide updates regarding operating system releases, patches, bugs, and fixes. This position specifically requires experience supporting environments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The proposed salary range for this position is $105,000-$118,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
