The position of Child Protection Community Development Facilitator is being advertised for our new Youth Social and Entrepreneurship Development (YSED) project being implemented in the Solomon Islands with funding from the New Zealand Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) through World Vision New Zealand (WVNZ). The project implementation will commence in February 2026 and will end 2030 with the aim of strengthening community child protection reporting and referral systems.
The Community Development Facilitator is responsible for empowering parents, caregivers, and community/faith leaders in target communities to strengthen their community child protection network systems and also organizing youth forums, support their capacity building activities like organizing leadership trainings, facilitating partnerships between the youth groups/forums and community leaders, provincial departments, government ministries and other stakeholders. The role will also support youth forums organize social events
