Digital-IP team is looking for a CAD/Methodology Engineer for custom circuit design. In this role you will develop and maintain design methodologies, flows for high-performance low-power circuit design, contribute to NVIDIA's state-of-the-art products. This role needs both knowledge of full custom circuit design and strong programming capability. What you’ll be doing:
Develop design methodologies, tools, and flows for custom circuit design and verification
Support full custom design flow from schematic to GDS
Internal CAD tool development, EDA tools integration, for simulation and physical verification
maintain custom circuit design environment and tools
What we need to see:
BS or above in EE, CS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of practical/industry experience
Strong programming skills; experience with Perl, Shell, Tcl, or Python preferred
Solid understanding of deep submicron CMOS processes and devices
Familiarity with circuit design tools and custom design flows
Strong team player with effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to learn quickly and work independently
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with flow automation
Experience with physical verification tools (e.g., ICV, Calibre)
Knowledge of VXL, PCELL, CDF, SKILL language, or netlisting
