CE - CNC Technician Teaching Assistant (Hourly)

Job Description Summary:

Assist the CE instructor in delivering hands-on training and support for the CNC Technician Training Program.

Job Description:

Join our team as a Teaching Assistant for the Continuing Education (CE) CNC Technician Training Program. In this role, you will support the instructor in delivering high-quality CNC training to students, helping them develop the skills needed for success in machining and manufacturing careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the instructor during class sessions by providing hands-on support to students with CNC equipment, tools, and exercises.

  • Help set up and maintain CNC machines and training materials.

  • Answer student questions and provide guidance during lab exercises and projects.

  • Ensure the classroom and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for use.

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the instructor on areas where additional support may be needed.

  • Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards in the classroom and lab environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with CNC machining, tools, and equipment is required.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Experience in a teaching or mentoring role is a plus but not required.
