The Opportunity

We are constantly seeking opportunities to find, develop and retain our talent and continue our success.  Our goal is to hire aspiring talent, give them the tools and support to help them develop and grow in their career. This Campus Relations Manager is critical to helping us build upon the success we have had in developing our relationships with universities and colleges across the country and building our employment brand on campus. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies that will build awareness of Fidelity’s employment brand on campus and increase our candidate pipeline for student and new graduate roles. This role is responsible for recruiting students for Fidelity Canada, as well as representing Fidelity through making presentations and participating in events on campus and virtually, and reports to the Manager, Campus and Student Experience. 

What You Will Do

  • Recruit, select, interview and onboard student hires. Coordinate associated student recruitment activities with the partnership of the talent acquisition coordination team

  • Establish and nurture relationships at key universities and colleges on behalf of Fidelity Canada

  • Represents Fidelity on campus at presentations, events, and fairs by organizing, facilitating and presenting content regularly at student events on campus

  • Key contributor to content and presenting at student webcasts

  • Partner with key stakeholders at schools to recommend, plan and execute on campus activities which will help build the Fidelity employment brand and create a pipeline of strong talent for us

  • Work consultatively across the Fidelity Canada organization to understand the needs of the business and develop specialized student recruiting programs that meet those needs.

  • Formalize and manage the campus ambassador program

  • Establish appropriate success criteria and measurement for student hiring and establish and maintain reporting

  • Partner with Digital Marketing to execute on social media campaigns for student hiring and events.

  • Identify new opportunities to expand Fidelity’s presence on campus, including sponsorships, panel presentations, webcasts, etc.

  • Participate in other recruitment activities as required

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a recruiter and/or campus recruiter within a corporate environment

  • University degree

  • Ability to travel to schools across country for events

  • Focused on building relationships with all levels across the organization and in the school setting.

  • Energized by working in a dynamic, fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and work well under pressure.

  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities/demands.

  • Passionate about students and guiding them along their career journey.
