BIETC is currently looking for Associate Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer to join Maintenance Engineering team to support Mechanical and Grounds Operations Systems in Bangalore. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Maintenance Engineering Team to implement the Maintenance Tool structural analysis solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

• Execute Mechanical design and analysis of a wide range of mechanical structures, Ground handling Equipment supporting maintenance of aircraft systems and other components.
• Investigate design-engineering changes to maintain engineering configuration and initiate action.
• Applies knowledge of engineering and scientific methods and tools to define and characterize behavior of products and processes
• Integrates technical, cost, value, and safety considerations into the product definition to comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements; documents result in data sets, reports, specifications, and drawing construction implementing ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Participates with other members on project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION.
• 4+ Years of Experience in aircraft systems or structures design, GSE development and production.
• Experience in performing Conceptual Tool Designs.
• Experience in aerospace material selection, Drawing creation/MBD creation, processes (finishing and heat treatment) specification.
• Familiar with aerospace industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards. Able to read, understand, and interpret advanced engineering drawings and specifications
• Expertise in computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA), Unigraphics-NX, etc.). Able to build and manipulate data sets.
• Awareness of industry standards, aircraft maintenance requirements, design, prototyping, validation and certification.
• Experience in tolerance stack up analysis, engineering or product quality investigation analyses.
• Candidates must be self-starters with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Must be very fluent in spoken and written English and have excellent communication style.
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work, and connect technology to business considerations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the streams (Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering) specifying the required streams.
• Experience with Boeing Commercial Aircraft or equivalent products.
• Experience with Ground Support Equipment Design or Tool Design.
• Experience or familiarity with fabrication and machining.
• Experience in use of PDM/PLM tools such as ENOVIA or Team Center.
• Familiarity with Stress concepts related to Design.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education e.g., Bachelor’s and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or Masters’ plus 4 Years of experience.
