To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Engineer - Tooling based in Chennai location
What a typical day looks like:
Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for injection molds.
Conduct Autodesk Moldflow simulation and prepare detailed reports.
Provide recommendations to minimize manufacturing issues based on simulation results.
Design and modify tools as per requirements.
Develop fixtures for post-production processes.
Analyze plastic parts and utilize Moldflow simulation tools for optimization.
Design injection molds and perform root cause analysis for mold-related issues.
Strong proficiency in tool design using SolidWorks.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and ability to perform 8D.
problem-solving and 5 Whys analysis.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automotive).
Diploma in Tool & Die Making is an added advantage.
Experience: 3 to 5 years in the Plastic Manufacturing industry with hands-on experience in tool design
