Job Description
The College of Business, Department of Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for an appointment beginning July 1, 2026. Finance faculty members are expected to actively engage in high-quality research. Candidates with research interests across all areas of finance are welcome to apply. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate, graduate, and PhD courses.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution by the time of appointment.
Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.

Grants-in-Aid for Faculty Employees
The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate.
