At World Fuel, safety and service are at the heart of everything we do. As an Aircraft Refuelling Operator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring aircraft are fuelled safely, efficiently, and on time—keeping the aviation industry moving. What You’ll Do
- Operate to the highest standards of Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) compliance.
- Safely handle, store, and move aviation fuel, including into-plane refuelling.
- Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures for all operational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, sales, and quality checks.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service.
- Respond to emergencies using correct procedures.
- Schedule and complete refuelling operations on time.
- Assist with vehicle and manpower planning.
- Input data into the AVR system for transactions and reconciliation.
- Complete annual training and maintain competency in all safety and operational procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- LGV 1 (C+E) licence with at least 2 years’ current Class 1 driving experience.
- Strong decision-making skills and commitment to HSE standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Basic IT and numeracy skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Flexible approach to work, including overtime.
- Manual handling experience.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- GCSEs (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
- Previous experience in refuelling or fuel tanker operations.
- Knowledge of aviation fuelling systems and procedures.
