The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking applications for Full/Part-time adjunct instructor(s) to teach in-person courses for the B.S. degree program in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET).
Required Education and Experience:
Earned Master's degree in Electrical, Communication, or Computer Engineering or closely related fields.
18 graduate hours in these fields or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.
Lecture and Laboratory teaching experience (teaching assistant experience will be accepted) or related industry experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.
Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
Broad training in ESET related fields and industry experience.
Interest in active and collaborative learning.
Instructional use of technology.
Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Presentation skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
