Role/ Department:

This role sits within the Global RFP/Proposals Management Team, part of the broader Global Sales Operations team. The team supports institutional sales efforts and client retention across EMEA, North America, and APAC by delivering high‑quality RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other client/prospect‑driven questionnaires.
 

The department operates as a centralized global function, partnering closely with Sales Managers, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Marketing. It plays a critical role in enabling revenue growth, supporting client acquisition and retention, and ensuring consistent, compliant, and high‑quality client communications across regions and products.
 

The role works as part of a collaborative, deadline‑driven team environment and is expected to balance global standards with local client requirements. The role contributes not only to individual deliverables but also to the continuous improvement of content, processes, and tools used across the global RFP function.

The Proposals Management Writer, supports the sales team in compiling responses to complex bid and proposal documents for prospective and existing clients. This role requires a solid understanding of the proposal process and the ability to work independently on most tasks, applying judgment within established frameworks, while still receiving guidance and support from senior team members as needed. In addition to core proposal management responsibilities, the Writer contributes to activities beyond day‑to‑day proposal delivery, such as content management, supporting team initiatives, and assisting with problem‑solving efforts.

• Prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires for a range of clients, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, insurance companies, and investment managers.
• Manage assigned aspects of the response process, including coordinating meetings, tracking milestones, and ensuring deadlines are met, with occasional oversight.
• Research and draft responses using the database and other approved resources, demonstrating initiative, attention to detail, and consistency.
• Tailor standard responses for individual clients, seeking input from senior colleagues for more complex customisation when required.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, sales, and relationship teams to source information and develop accurate, client‑focused responses.
• Maintain and update the RFP database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal standards.
• Liaise with other business areas to confirm and keep factual content current.
• Contribute to research for new database content supporting emerging products, services, or regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation of AI and process‑enhancement initiatives to improve proposal quality and efficiency.
• Escalate complex issues or unfamiliar requirements to senior team members and incorporate feedback constructively.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills working with global stakeholders across different time zones

  • Strong understanding of institutional investment products, asset servicing, or capital markets (preferred)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex deliverables under tight deadlines

  • AI/Copilot awareness and usage preferable
