Job Summary: This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO), Facilities Management Division. The Facility Project Coordinator leads efforts to plan, coordinate, and execute complex facility maintenance projects identified by the Facility Manager, or as listed in the Facility Condition Assessment. *Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Top-Secret Security clearance.*

Qualifications: You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, an applicant's one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful job performance. To qualify at the GS-11 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-09 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis: Conducting surveillance activities over construction and maintenance operations performed by a variety of private contractors, including reviewing project plans and specifications for workability; Assisting in managing and technically directing contract administration activities. Includes monitoring contractor activities through personal contact or review of performance data to ensure compliance with technical, financial and delivery requirements of the contract. OR Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or at least 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M. To be qualifying, the higher-level graduate education must be in a major field of study with course work directly related to the work of this position; OR; Have an equivalent combination of the above specialized experience AND higher level graduate education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-11 level in the federal service.
