Brief Description 
As a Media Planning Manager, you will be responsible for integrated media and communication planning for a global client, encompassing both online and offline channels. While digitally-focused, this client actively engages in offline campaigns, so we expect planning that leverages both your online and offline skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working at an advertising agency, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in offline and online media planning, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with E-commerce clients is a significant advantage.
  • Business- level communication skills in Japanese and English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience and skills in English presentations and document creation.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Team leader experience is a significant advantage.


In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Understand the client's business and be able to collaborate with the Associate Director on media planning in your own words from the fourth month onwards.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish a foundation for your work.

In six months:

  • Lead at least one project from proposal to execution.
  • Understand the latest trends in competitors and media, and be able to share them internally and externally.

In 12 months:

  • Analyze annual reviews yourself and share insights with internal staff.
  • Be able to set data-driven goals for the following year and beyond.

  • 口頭および書面の両方における優れたコミュニケーションスキル
  • 英語によるプレゼンテーション・資料作成の経験とスキル
  • Excelの熟練したスキル(ピボットテーブル、VLOOKUPなど)
  • 独立して作業する能力と、チーム環境で協力する能力
  • 強力な組織力、細部への注意、複数のタスクを同時にこなす能力
  • チームリーダーとしての経験があれば尚良い

  • 競合他社やメディアの最新動向を把握し、社内外に共有出来る

  • 年間レビューを自身で分析し、社内のスタッフに共有できる
  • 次年度以降の数字を用いた目標を立てられる
