The Workplace Team provides support for Zillow employees’ in-office experience, including employees using ZG office for heads down work and critical in-person team gatherings. This role will have a customer-first approach with specific focus on helping drive success for critical on-site gatherings.

About the role

  • Own day-to-day operations of the office including ordering of office supplies, submitting building request tickets, ensuring cleanliness of space, etc. Ensure all spaces are maintained and kept to high standards.

  • Serve as the main point-of-contact for any onsite vendors, third parties or contractors during the time performing work onsite. This includes serving as the point of contact internally to Zillow partner teams to understand on-site needs and using a master calendar for the site.

  • Elevate the workplace experience by providing day-to-day support for all in-office events and operational services in a timely, professional manner; crafting memorable experiences for ZG employees. This includes being go to person for Zillow’s zRetreats, internal team gatherings held on-site during most weeks of the year.

  • Work with partner teams with management of onsite services such as maintenance, mail, janitorial, building services, etc.

  • Act as Tier 1 AV support on-site for Zillow’s Zoom devices, following detailed troubleshooting steps and advancing to the AV team for support as needed

  • Partner with Zillow’s Internal Gatherings Coordinators to understand event needs and carry out pre-event support including, but not limited to, fulfilling event supply requests, setting up and resetting rooms, handling catering order communications, etc.

  • Providing day of event support for all onsite events including handling requests as they arise, helping with any questions or concerns from event attendees, working with onsite day porters to confirm room set-ups and cleanliness, etc.

  • Provide remote support for a couple coworking locations in Kansas City and Chicago, with willingness to travel to locations if needed. 

  • Participate in health and safety programs including Fire Warden and First Aid/AED.

This role has been categorized as an Office position. “Office” employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $33.90 - $54.10 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • Requires 3-5 years of experience in workplace, facilities management and/or events experience.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Previous customer service/hospitality experience preferred.

  • Can efficiently handle time and projects independently.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Must have solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
