TL;DR

We are looking for a motivated Engagement Manager to join our team and take ownership of internal and external relationships, overseeing the delivery of data and AI consulting projects. 

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for several internal stakeholders, oversee small and medium-sized engagements end-to-end, and collaborate closely with our clients and the sales and delivery teams to drive measurable value. 

The ideal candidate combines good client-facing skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for turning business needs into successful outcomes.

What will you do?

You’ll be responsible for the engagement lifecycle, supporting successful delivery, driving value realization, and identifying opportunities for growth within accounts.

  • Client Relationship & Satisfaction: Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and proactive issue resolution. Gather and action customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
  • Engagement Success and Expectation Management: Actively participate in preparing project kickoffs to set clear expectations and define success. Co-operate with project managers related to ongoing projects to oversee delivery excellence, maximize customer outcomes, and safeguard commercial performance.
  • Strategic Reporting & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key Sales metrics (revenue, backlog, project health, CSAT) to support strategic decision-making. Provide regular updates on project status and financial performance to stakeholders.
  • Account Growth & Alignment: Identify opportunities to expand accounts by spotting unmet needs and coordinating with sales. Ensure seamless execution by translating pre-sales insights into actionable delivery plans.
  • Process & Knowledge Improvement: Facilitate cross-functional alignment (sales, delivery, leadership) and knowledge sharing. Contribute to refining internal methodologies and best practices based on lessons learned from post-engagement reviews.
  • Administration & Forecasting: Maintain accurate project and opportunity data in the CRM system, including stages and projected close dates. Responsible for project-level revenue forecasting.

What will you bring?

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in consulting, client engagement, account management, or delivery management in IT, data, or technology services.
  • Problem-solving skills: Proactive in addressing challenges, removing roadblocks, and developing practical solutions to ensure project and client success.
  • Client-facing skills: Strong ability to manage and grow client relationships, with proven experience handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of project-level financials (bookings, revenue, backlog, profitability) and ability to report on performance metrics.
  • Project/Engagement management: Familiarity with scoping, planning, and overseeing delivery of technology or data-related projects.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to interpret business metrics, client feedback, and delivery outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Skilled in working across sales and delivery teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable balancing multiple accounts, managing changing priorities, and occasionally traveling.

What will the selection process look like?

  • Screening Interview (~45 minutes). One of our Recruiters will run it. The purpose is to better understand your motivation for the role and assess how you match the role's core requirements.
  • Take-home Assignment. We’ll ask you to prepare a case-study about a current data and AI related topic. This allows you to demonstrate your way of thinking and communication skills, and show how you would drive success in the position.
  • Panel Presentation (~60-90 minutes). During this round, you will we will discuss your take-home assignment submission and your professional experience with your future manager.
  • Cultural Fit Interview (~60 minutes) with our Head of People. The focus will be on discussing more in-depth ways of working, debriefing your performance during the interview process, and pre-aligning on possible goals and focus post joining.

  • Applying structured thinking and a well-organized approach to create and refine efficient processes, proactively shaping workflows even in emerging or newly developing areas.
  • Coordinating both smaller and larger tasks effectively, and prioritizing across multiple parallel activities to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

Total compensation

The gross salary for this position ranges from  1 400 000 HUF/month to 1 800 000 HUF/month, depending on your assessed seniority level during the selection process.
