As a Workplace Concierge you will lead  reception, assist with  facilities, support meetings and events, and ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. Working closely with our Workplace Manager and teams, you’ll help deliver an organised, service-focused environment that supports productivity, wellbeing, and a great culture. 
 
Please note, this position is Full Time Permanent – on site at our Brisbane CBD head office – conveniently located right by Central train station.  
 

Your part in our UnitingCare team:   

  • Welcome staff and visitors as the first point of contact, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.  

  • Provide concierge-style support including visitor sign-in, meeting assistance, and general enquiries.  

  • Maintain tidy, safe, and functional office spaces including reception, meeting rooms, kitchens, and wellness areas.  

  • Conduct daily floor checks and escalate maintenance or safety issues.  

  • Help coordinate building maintenance and track completion.

  • Monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies, ensuring cost-effective usage.  

  • Manage registers for access cards, keys, lockers, and other workplace assets.  

  • Set up meeting rooms with AV technology, seating, materials, and catering as required 

  • Support Board and Executive meetings and assist with internal events and cultural activities.  

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for workplace access, technology setup, and asset collection.  

  • Use workplace systems confidently and assist with basic AV troubleshooting.  

  • Process invoices and purchase orders accurately in line with policy.  

  • Support WHS practices including hazard reporting, emergency response, and evacuation drills.  

  • Liaise with building management, security, cleaners, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.  

  • Act as backup for the Workplace Manager and provide general administration and reporting as needed. 

 

What makes a difference for us? 

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. This may includea Nationally Coordinated Police Check, Right to Work in Australia  

  • 3+ years’ experience in reception, office administration, or facilities coordination  

  • Strong customer service and communication skills  

  • Ability to manage workplace operations and onboarding/offboarding processes  

  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to multitask  

  • Reliable, discreet, and able to handle confidential information  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems  

  • Experience with D365 for invoicing, and Gallagher card systems  

  • Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance  

  • Comfortable supporting events, executive meetings, and AV/IT setups  

  • Proactive and able to contribute to process improvements
