Workday Functional Leads/Analyst – Compensation and Advanced Compensation

Our challenge

From initial assessments to entire transformations, candidate’ll deliver Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions by specifically focusing on Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation with knowledge of Core HCM functional

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $115k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert on Compensation and Advanced Compensation helping to configure and streamline processes.
  • Facilitate Design Sessions, capture requirements, configure creative solutions.
  • Partner with customer and HRIS team members on yearly compensation cycle and to provide project support.
  • Responsible for documentation, configuration, testing support, go-live support, trainings, and post-production (hypercare) support for the annual and adhoc comp processes.
  • Participate in an innovative, team-centered culture for the HCM team to enable constant innovation.
  • Direct efforts to improve and implement system integrations between Workday and internal applications.
  • Demonstrate consultative skills by collaborating with a global team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of project deliverables and documentation.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to support testing internal changes and Workday releases.
  • Provide the highest level of customer support via internal ticketing system and all other standard forms of communication and interaction.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a functional consultant or relevant experience in Workday implementations for Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
  • Prior experience as a Workday functional consultant or subject matter expert in Workday HCM business processes, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and/or project methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is crucial as the specialist or consultant will need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, from project team members to senior management, to ensure the project's success.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Workday certification in Compensation and Advanced Compensation preferred.
