Work Schedule: Full-time 

Compensation: $105,450.00-$110,856.02  (Tessera's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.)

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Work Control Supervisor with strong leadership, data management, and contract compliance skills to support operations at WS BOSC. The Work Control Supervisor supports operations by overseeing the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of maintenance of work order processing and documentation. This role ensures proper use of systems like Maximo and NEXGEN, maintains contract compliance, and coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet operational goals.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:  

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Maximo and NEXGEN. Maintains alignment with Navy reporting standards. 

  • Collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and Resource Management on MRRs, PMs, and Asset Plans. 

  • Oversees full work order lifecycle and maintains asset data integrity. 

  • Manages digital and physical documentation for all work control activities; prepares reports and analyses. 

  • Generates production control reports (forecasts, utilization, backlog) to optimize workforce planning. 

  • Leads and mentors' data entry clerks and service desk staff; provide onboarding and ongoing training. 

  • Conducts evaluations, corrective actions, and personnel documentation per Tessera HR and federal labor laws. 

  • Continuously improves work control processes and implements best practices for efficiency. 

  • Addresses and resolves customer feedback and quality concerns with Navy stakeholders. 

  • Travel as needed to the Home Office and contract sites. 

Qualifications:   

  • Highschool Diploma/GED is required; Associate degree is preferred.  

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Work Control, production control, or facility maintenance operations 

  • An equivalent combination of experience and education can be considered.  

  • Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Maximo or NEXGEN System Admin Training

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. 

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. 

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required 

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
